1. What is your screen printing turnaround

Our current turnaround time is 10 weekdays, plus shipping. This
means that your order will leave our print warehouse within
2 weeks. Our screen printing facility is located in Los Angeles,
CA from which all of the continental United States are 5 business
days or less away.
Rush Orders are also available with a $25 Additional Setup Charge, and the following adjustments to printing charges..
5-Day Rush - Adds 25% to Printing Charges
3-Day Rush - Adds 45% to Printing Charges
1-Day Rush - Adds 100% to Printing Charges
2. Is there a minimum order quantity

Yes, we have a minimum order quantity of 12 pieces per design for Standard Printing Prices. You
can mix sizes to reach this minimum. Any order less than 12 items will be charged additional printing cost for full minimum requirement.
Also Additional Ink Colors Require Greater Minimum Order

3. What is the maximum size that
my design can be for screen printing? Back

The maximum image size depends on the type of item that you
are printing on, but here are some general guidelines:
* Adult tees have a maximum printable area of 17" x 11".
* Fitted ladies items such as tank tops generally have a smaller
printable area.
4. If I am printing on a wide range of
sizes, such as youth and adult, can my design be "scaled"
so it looks proportionate to each size? Back

Yes. However, to print a different size of your design will require a
separate set of screens for each design size. Each different size will require a new setup and will be charged appropriately.
5. What does "print-ready"
artwork mean? Back to FAQ
The term "print-ready" means that your artwork is
already properly formatted for screen printing, and that we
can create screens directly from your artwork without having
to edit or enhance it in any way. If your artwork meets the
following requirements, it is print-ready:
* Artwork sent in .JPEG or .PSD formats must
have an original resolution of 300 dpi at the size you want
it printed. . Please do not just add pixels to your artwork,
as it will make your design look ragged and it will not print
well. Also, please do not shrink your design to increase resolution.
* .PSD files must be flattened, or each color must be
in its own layer, with no additional layers.
* Artwork sent in .AI or .EPS must have actually
been created using Adobe Illustrator, rather than being imported.
Please make sure to convert all fonts to outlines in
order to preserve font appearance.
If you do not have artwork that meets the above specifications,
you may be charged a small art fee of $20 to re-draw your artwork in
order to make it print-ready. If you are not sure if your artwork
is already print-ready, please send it to jimmyjam@vel.net
and we will let you know. Please also note that if your artwork
is not print-ready, it may cause delays in your turnaround time.

If you live in the Los Angeles area you can bring or mail your
artwork to us on a CD otherwise send your artwork to us via
email at jimmyjam@vel.net

7. How can I tell how many colors there
are in my artwork? Back to FAQ
If you are unsure of how many ink colors are required to screen
print your artwork send it to us, and we'll
give you a consultation free of charge. Note: Artwork that is
extremely colorful or includes many different shades of the
same color may need to printed using a Heat-Transfer
to maintain a photograph like image.
8. Can I provide my own items for printing? Back to FAQ
Yes. Pricing for self-provided items is shown in the Standard Screenprint Pricing Table above.
9. Can I print the same design with different color ink? Back to FAQ
Yes. There is a $5 Ink Change Charge per color when printing the same design with a different colors
10. Can I have exact color matching? Back to FAQ
Yes. We will match and custom mix our inks to exactly match specified Pantone Colors for a charge of $15 per design.
11. How long will the screens be kept? Back to FAQ
Once a print order has been completed the screen(s) used will be kept for 30 days before they are recycled for use on other orders.
12. Can I purchase my own screens? Back to FAQ
Screens can be purchased after completion of an order for a charge of $15 per screen.
13. Can I have my design reprinted at a later date?Back to FAQ
Designs will be kept for two years following and order and new screens can be made for a charge of $20 per screen if 30 days have already passed since the intial order and the customer has not already bought and provided their own screens for us to use.
